This personal scale works very easily, without fuss. When you use the scale for the first time, insert the included batteries (2x AAA). For a correct measurement result, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Turn it on by briefly tapping the platform, after which 0.0 kg appears on the display. Stand in the middle of the platform and wait for the display to show your weight. It does this quite precisely, being accurate to 50 grams. You can also convert the unit of measurement to display in English pounds, if that is your preference.
